Homeopathy changed my life

Can you believe it’s been about six years since COVID?

What started as “two weeks to flatten the curve” became something much bigger. It created division—between friends, communities, even entire countries—and shifted the way many of us see the world.

In the beginning, I didn’t quite know what to think. I enjoyed some parts of it—working remotely full-time and getting extra time with my three babies. But slowly, things started to feel different.

Everyday life changed. Masks became required almost everywhere. Gatherings stopped. Even simple things, like walking through a grocery store, came with rules—arrows on the floor, and sometimes being corrected if you went the “wrong” way. Then it became: get the shot or face consequences.

I found myself in that position with my employer. We were days away from either losing our jobs or complying, before it was ultimately deemed unethical. At the time, it felt like a small win— but it left a lasting impression.

All of it led me to a realization: the healthcare system wasn’t what I thought it was.

I started seeking out different perspectives, connecting with like-minded people, and began to see the body in a new way—more capable, more intelligent, and more able to heal than I had ever been led to believe.

At the start of COVID, I was dealing with my own health concerns—things I had always brushed off as “normal.” But as I learned more, my perspective shifted. I began trying different approaches and supporting my body in new ways.

Around that same time, I began sourcing raw milk from a local farmer and asked her for any insights she might have.

That’s when I was introduced to homeopathy.

I had never even heard the term before. I started researching, had a discovery call, and eventually decided to move forward.

Not long after beginning that journey for myself, my youngest—just two years old—went through something that completely changed everything.

She developed glomerulonephritis.

There were no major warning signs beforehand—just a slight runny nose. Then one day, her babysitter noticed blood in the toilet. Everything moved quickly after that. At first, it was thought to be a UTI, but her symptoms shifted rapidly over the weekend, and it was later confirmed to be glomerulonephritis.

We tried to manage it through her pediatrician and a specialist, but things escalated and eventually led to a hospital stay.

There were also parts of that time that were just really hard. At one point, we were denied care because I refused to wear a mask during an urgent care visit for lab work. That experience stayed with me—the feeling of being turned away when my child needed support.

I remember feeling torn. Part of me wondered if I should just comply and move forward. But another part of me couldn’t ignore what didn’t feel right. It was a hard place to be—scared, uncertain, and questioning everything—while also trying to advocate for my child.

Eventually, we got the care she needed and were able to stabilize her condition. But that experience changed how I viewed the system.

From that point on, I knew I needed to take a different path.

I leaned fully into homeopathy.

While we were able to bring her through the acute situation, I also began supporting her with homeopathy. Even before that diagnosis, she had been struggling in other ways—and overtime, I saw real shifts as we worked with her whole system, not just one condition.

Since then, I’ve been able to support my family in ways I didn’t know were possible before.

That doesn’t mean conventional medicine doesn’t have its place—it absolutely does, especially in certain situations. But I’ve come to understand that there are other approaches that can meet you where you are and work with the body, rather than against it.

Homeopathy views each person as an individual. It asks:
What is your body expressing?
What is it asking for?
And how can we support it?

It’s not about forcing change—it’s about offering the body a gentle nudge, supporting its natural direction of healing.

Because the body is intelligent. And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is learn how to listen.

Has homeopathy changed something fundamentally for you?  I would love to hear your story. Please ping me a message and share your experiences.
